Terms of Service
These terms apply when you access A Pete Lab websites, download A Pete Lab products, purchase paid access, or use our software. If a product includes additional license terms, those product-specific terms also apply.
Products and access
A Pete Lab products are licensed, not sold. For Mac App Store products, paid features, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, refunds, and restore purchases are handled through Apple In-App Purchase and the App Store. Mac App Store products do not require and do not use external license keys from A Pete Lab. Direct website editions, if offered separately, may use their own activation method and product-specific terms; those terms do not replace the App Store rules for Mac App Store purchases.
Payments, subscriptions, and delivery
Prices, plans, and product availability may change over time. For Mac App Store products, purchases and subscriptions are completed through Apple In-App Purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge your account within 24 hours before renewal. Restorable App Store purchases can be restored inside the app. If purchase delivery, entitlement refresh, or restore purchases fails, contact pete@apetelab.com with the product name and a short description of the issue.
Acceptable use
You may not use A Pete Lab products or services to violate laws, harm others, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer protected licensing systems, distribute malware, scrape private systems, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, or product data.
Updates and availability
Products may receive updates, fixes, or new builds, but we do not guarantee that every product will remain available forever or support every operating system version. As the software is upgraded and iterated, features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed from existing products, with or without notice. A lifetime purchase means access to eligible paid features for the life of the product as made available through the App Store; it does not guarantee all future unrelated products, every operating system version, or indefinite availability of third-party services. Unless required by applicable law, we are not required to provide advance notice for feature changes, reductions, or removals. Please read the relevant product page carefully and make sure you understand these terms before purchasing or subscribing.
Refunds and support
Support is handled by email. For App Store purchases, refunds, billing disputes, and chargebacks are handled by Apple under App Store policies. A Pete Lab cannot directly issue App Store refunds. For product support, contact pete@apetelab.com and include the product name and a short description of the issue.
Limitation of liability
A Pete Lab products are provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the website, products, downloads, licenses, or third-party services. If user data is lost, damaged, or becomes incomplete due to software updates or software failure, we will try to help resolve the issue, but we are not responsible for resulting financial losses, operational losses, or other related damages. Please keep separate backups of important personal data outside our software.
